About this policy
This policy describes how Mocha handles information when you use its website and available applications. Features vary by platform and release. The website currently presents the product and an interactive concept using sample data; it does not provide access to a live Mocha account.
Operator: Studio THM, based in the United States. Contact: developer@studiothm.com.
Information you provide
When you create an app account, Mocha processes your email address, account identifier, authentication information, and profile information you choose to provide, such as a name or photo. Sign-in providers may supply an identifier, email address, and profile information according to your choices.
Mocha processes the content you enter, including tasks, projects, areas, tags, notes, calendar events, habits, routines, habit logs, budgets, bills, and preferences. This can include personal or sensitive information you choose to record.
Connected accounts and device permissions
If you connect a calendar or reminders account, Mocha accesses information needed for the features you enable, such as calendar names, event details, reminder details, and connection credentials or authorization tokens. Supported connections may include Apple, Google, and Microsoft. Creating or changing an event in Mocha may also change it in the connected service.
Device permissions are optional. Depending on enabled features, Mocha may access calendars, reminders, contacts you select, notifications, and location. Location can support location-based reminders, including region monitoring when you allow background access. You can revoke permissions in your device settings. Revoking access does not automatically remove records previously saved or synchronized.
Apple Health
If you enable an Apple Health integration, Mocha requests access to the data types relevant to your selected habit. Depending on your selections, these may include activity, workouts, sleep, mindfulness, measurements, or medication-related information.
Health-derived values and completion records can become habit logs in Mocha’s local store and synchronization flow. Do not assume those derived logs remain only in Apple Health. Some supported features may request permission to write a record back to Apple Health. You can manage Health permissions through Apple Health or device settings.
How information is used
Information is used to provide accounts, organize and display your content, synchronize records, maintain authorized integrations, deliver reminders, troubleshoot problems, protect the service, and respond to requests.
Connecting a service authorizes the corresponding feature; it does not authorize unrelated use of your information. Google account information is handled subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.
Storage and service providers
Mocha stores app records on your device and uses Supabase for account authentication, database synchronization, and relevant file storage. Connected providers process information needed for their integrations. The website is hosted by Vercel.
Hosting and service providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, request details, timestamps, and diagnostic logs to operate and protect their services. Information may be processed outside your country; applicable rights depend on your location and the services involved.
The website, cookies, and tracking
The current marketing website does not contain an email signup form, advertising scripts, or an analytics integration. Its interactive preview uses sample data kept in page memory and resets when the page reloads. Light and dark appearance follow your device preference by default. If you choose an appearance in the footer, that choice is saved in your browser’s local storage and is not sent to Mocha.
Infrastructure providers may process request logs or use technologies needed to operate and secure hosting. This description concerns the current website; account features in the app use authentication and local storage for their functionality.
Disclosure
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use your content, calendar information, location, or health-derived data for targeted advertising. Mocha currently contains no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
Information is shared with service providers and connected services as needed for enabled features. Information may also be disclosed where legally required, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business transfer subject to applicable law.
If you choose to share content or invite other people, the information involved in that action may become available to those recipients. Use care when recording information about others.
Retention and your choices
Records are retained as needed to provide the features you use and for applicable security, operational, or legal purposes. Removing a local copy or disconnecting an integration does not necessarily delete synchronized records, provider records, or backup copies.
You can edit or remove content using available app controls, revoke permissions, and disconnect integrations where supported. Contact developer@studiothm.com to request access, correction, export, or account and data deletion. Requests may require identity verification; legal exceptions and backup retention may apply. Additional rights, including a complaint to your local data protection authority, may apply depending on your location.
Security
Mocha uses authentication and access controls to protect account data. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Keep your account and devices secure and avoid sharing access credentials.
Children
Mocha is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information contrary to this policy, contact developer@studiothm.com.
Changes and contact
Changes will be published on this page with an updated date. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or another appropriate channel.
